Composed by Arkadiusz Reikowski, one of the most appreciated Polish composers, creator of several critically acclaimed soundtracks to games such as Kholat, Layers of Fear, Observer, Layers of Fear 2 etc., as well as by Brunon Lubas - one of the most talented Polish video games music composers, creator of Ritual: Crown of Horns soundtrack.

I'm hoping that Coteries is the first modern step forward for an IP long overdue for mass recognition. Vampire: The Masquerade fans will enjoy this, and fans of vampire fiction in general might want to give it a whirl, as this is an easy introduction to an awesome universe.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Coteries of New York left me feeling hungry. The game is certainly well-written, but its truncated story doesn’t quite do its complex, captivating world justice. If you’re a dedicated VTM devotee, Coteries of New York is a solid appetizer, but you’ll have to wait until next year for something to truly sink your fangs into.

pretty freakin' good (~18h Ventrue)

I didn't enjoy the first session (an hour or so) for whatever reason that may or may not have been a me issue, but after I returned a month later it was good sailin' from there. The animations and sound effects are a nice addition to the scenes, especially once I noticed people moving in the background here and there. Could the game use a freakin' manual to explain a few things that its dictionary understandably leaves out? Yeah, but I eventually figured it out. 😅 My coterie was kinda intentionally at 2.5 by the end and I was fully invested in 2 of their questlines. Speaking of the end, I liked it. I kinda get why others didn't, but I liked it. Hell, everything made sense as far as I'm concerned and I like the open-endedness of it all. ymmv though 🤷🏿‍♂️ Word of Advice: maintain detailed backups of the save directory, especially on the off chance you encounter the "Callihan bug" (search online for the workaround).

Very short choose your own adventure

This is a rip off that should cost no more than a dollar. First, your choices don’t matter. Second, it’s very short and doesn’t even resolve the story. This is all ridiculous. They are barely any graphics and there’s no voice over. Both of those problems shouldn’t exist when the game is all text.

Sucks.

Its a Vamp game and supposed to SUCK , But this one Sucks in a differant way. This is no game its Bull Shit. Nothing but reading and at times give a response to questions. What a Let down. Im actually pissed I even payed for this, Its nothing but a short graphic novel.
