Vampire®: The Masquerade - Bloodlines™

I love the story in this game!

immersion is deep and the characters are interesting. the atmosphere is rich and while the story isnt that long its pretty deep. there is some jank to movement and collision but otherwise a solid 4/5 game.

A very balanced mix of lore, mission, sneaking and combat. I am very surprised how deep this game is. Most stories circle around some intrigue or madness. There are several (more or less) hidden agendas, but they are presented simple enough to follow the plot easily. The dramaturgy is excellent, the writing, the voice acting, the scripting - everything adds up. There was a master at work. I enjoy every minute of this game. The graphics are dated of course and the combat system is nothing special. Several mods are available for scaled up textures.

A cult-classic for good reason, V:TMB is an atmospheric gem of an RPG with immersive sim elements. There's a wonderful, early 2000s atmosphere pervading the entire game, in part attributable to the loveable feel that comes with the Source engine. All RPG elements are executed very well, which is to be expected from Troika: quests are well-written, appropriately branching with many choices, characters are spectacular, classes actually feel totally distinct. The backdrop of the game with all the warring factions make for a wonderful setting. The game's jank isn't pervasive enough to be a detriment, in fact I find it mostly adds to the game's charm, namely: some VA and cutscene animations being subpar.

A Classic RPG Game that invoke nostalgia and good memories. This is an excellent RPG that requires reading and attention to the details to be enjoyed.
