GPU Roaster
Didn't get to play the actual game much because it absolutely roasts the GPU. 64GB ram and 8GB vram and fan was running the whole time, GPU temps up to 99° C, dropped to medium quality, simple reflections etc still running crazy hot consistently. Be careful with this one. Looks pretty though...

It's not a bad game
The most important thing missing is the 'feel'. I have no idea how to make that happen but it sure is missing! (When the fish bites, when the pole jerks, when the line drags, you know what I mean, The 'Feel' of the fish!) Other than that it's just a fishing game. My PC is not online so I can't comment on that aspect but, what you do is, stand on a bank or in a boat, throw your line in the water and wait for a fish to grab the hook. It's pretty simple. Success is about 99%. There's no excitement in the game because of the lack of feeling. It is fairly realistic tho. You can level up and buy more and better tackle as you play. It isn't a bad game, there just isn't much to it. Maybe if you entered an online tournament with an online PC. That may get the juices going. I do recommend it if you like to fish.

Very good game
I am just getting started, and I understand very little so far, but I am very pleased with both the complexity and the enjoyability. Its a challenge, but I like it a lot.

A relaxation masterclass
It's a fantastic simulator, I generally love the pacing of it, however I would very much appreciate a way to adjust the difficulty of catching fish and the frequency of strike opportunities. I play this as a means of relaxation, and sometimes I'm not looking to frequently catch a fish, the wait is more important than the battle itself. It's honestly a small gripe because the frequency of strike opportunities can be somewhat controlled by your choice of location/bait combinations, this is truly deserving of 5 stars. Thanks to the developers for their continued efforts.

Discouragingly easy game. Boring.
Discouragingly easy game. Tried it twice for 15 minutes each - after a while I had two tons of fish. No challenge at all. I have no idea about fishing. I get the impression that the game is meticulously equipped with millions of rods, hooks, lures, floats etc, there are probably maps of a hundred rivers and lakes, a million species of fish, simulated behaviour, habits, what they do after work etc. But it's all very thoroughly wasted. In practice, you cast a hook (I don't even know if there is bait on it) and after a minute you pull out a fish. You cast, you pull it out. You cast, you pull out. You cast, you pull out. I lasted a few minutes - not for my nerves. I thought some knowledge, experience, dexterity would be required. Nothing like that. You cast and pull.
