Ultima™ 7 The Complete Edition

This game started out good. I thought the game had decent graphics. Nice day and night effects. Even had more of an "cheery" RPG feeling than Ultima 8. However after completing the first town and exploring "Britain". (Interestingly the name of the second town) I had no idea what to do. While the first town seemed to have borders or "walls". The next series of towns including Britain are conjunctioned by wagon trails. Wagon Trails? It might be a small gripe but after this you seem to have no additional quests. The map you are given has no bearings. No GPS type pointer, etc. That is fine but if you are going to do that at least make it somewhat like the pathways in Ultima 8. All in all small gripes. However when I play a series of RPG's as renowned as Ultima I expect a little more refinement.

This game sucks. How do you even play it? The manuals are all just in-game lore, there's no instructions on how to interact with the world or do anything. Where even is the menu so you can save and exit the game. This blows. Wasted six bucks.

I loved Ultima 4 as a kid, and decided to try the others more recently. Now I'm glad I didn't try them before. The game creator decided he was just too good in Ultima 4 and he would compensate by being anti-moral. Ultima 7 is filled from the beginning with propoganda, such as class struggle, feminism, and environmentalism, all in fantasy land. They might as well chop off Lord British's head in a Jacobin revolution.
