Refreshing FPS experience!
Damm, this is done with love, sport! Terrific homage to 90s FPS xploitation. It's a no brainer! We need more of this...you don't need amazing graphics all the time, you just need to overkill your FPS proposal, with love and tender care, like these guys did with TURBO OVERKILL. BUY IT!

Doom Eternal for Retroheads
Turbo Overkill plays alot like Doom Eternal or Shadow Warrior 3. The first person shooting is coupled with platforming, including wall running and even grappling, while being fast and very fluid. Weapons include secondary functions and upgrades. The environments are as fun to traverse as they are cool to look at, with interlooping paths for quick traversal to previous areas of a map. Vehicular combat, in both a Blade Runner styled hovercar and motorcycle, actually one-ups Doom Eternal by offering a feature it lacks! Doom Eternal might be blushing a bit here. The lore is typical cyberpunk fare with knods to RoboCop and William Gibson novels. The visual aesthetic is a mix of late 1990s polygynal graphics and lotsa neon. While in a class with modern FPSes like Dooom Eternal and Shadow Warrior 3, Turbo Overkill easily has a very cool identity of its own.

Godless Abstract Nonsense
This is a Doom Eternal inspired boomer shooter. This game shines in its platforming and arena encounters. Several lines of dialogue, cutscenes, and gameplay moments made me smile ear to ear. It falls on its face with unbelievably boring and badly designed boss encounters with human sized enemies and a failure to communicate direction with environmental cues to players. Additionally, having a mechanism to regenerate your ammunition is a lesson this dev desperately needed to learn from Eternal.

Absolute recommendation
Surprisingly atmospheric game with great voice acting, music and looks. The gameplay is just as crazy as the trailer suggests, which says a lot. If you already tried it during early access or right after release and found the game lacking, consider trying again. The devs still fix stuff now and then, including balancing.

Modern Classic!
This game is an indie gem! basically if you liked Doom Eternal you'll never regret buying this! A fast-paced shooter with great weapons, satisfaying mechanics and a freaking chainsaw built-in to your leg and you slide with it killing enemies like a damn lunatic! Truely amazing! Note: It's not bug free, but i didnt encounter any game breaking bugs so far.
