Both Trine Enchanted Edition as well as the original Trine are included in the Enchanted Edition. The different versions are selectable from the game launcher. All Trine purchases have been automatically updated to Trine Enchanted Edition.
Trine is a physics-based action game where three characters combine their powers to devise clever solutions to challenges created by hazardous puzzles and threatening enemies. The gameplay is based on fully interactive physics where each character's different abilities and tactics can be used to invent new ways to overcome obstacles and save the kingdom!
The single-player game is fantastic fun, but Trine is one of those games best played with a friend in co-op mode. Finding solutions in a synergy of different character skills, perfectly timing your actions, and solving puzzles together with your co-op partner is the kind of truly rewarding feeling that only the best co-op games can elicit.

Co-op fun but ran out of steam
(I played this local coop) I played this with my sibling who is not into videogames, and so the simplistic puzzles, platforming eased them into the game. However, towards the end, the jumping-platforming was too frequent, and felt like the devs ran out of puzzles or things to throw at us. Thankfully it was the right game length as the puzzles, lack of enemies, and forgettable story was starting to get boring. Here's hoping that the sequels improves upon the solid foundation this game brought.

This is one of the best indie games. If you have some money and you want to try something different (logical arcade & platform game) buy it.

A fantastic journey.
Trine is a platform game packed into an old, misterious fairy tale. Awesome challenges, music and graphics. Soundtrack is so good I like it to play till today. I already have the boxed version and played it over - still love the memory playing its every minute. If you still haven't tried it, you shouldn't miss. Really.

What ALL side scrollers have aspired to be and when you are done with this gem Trine 2 is just as amazing.
