Excelent game
It is old, it's 1080p, but oh man it is a great game and a great experience. It's satisfying to combine functions and to try different playing styles.

Kinda breaks my heart
I loved Bastion, and was exposed to the Transistor soundtrack before buying the game. My hopes were way up. The opening is excellent: very smooth and natural. But it's a slow downhill from there. The ability customization UI, in particular, is incredibly awkward. There's no logical flow to it, so I end up just clicking randomly until I get what I want. In addition, the absence of a minimap or any other indicator of where you've been before make it difficult to pick up again after not playing for a few days. This is a case of lame-duck game mechanics leaning on strong graphics and sound to support themselves.

A real cyberpunk game
It is a touching story with a good atmosphere, suits everyone who wants to try the cyberpunk style game but do not have proper devices for Cyberpunk 2077.

Great game
Something I really like about this game and Bastion is that they don't overstay their welcome. The designers did well and didn't try to drag the game out to increase playtime. The best parts of this game are all parts, and that can be rare in games. I also really love a story that just throws you in and lets you pick up the pieces along the way. The game doesn't always directly tell you what is going on, some of that is left up to you to figure out. Instead of being told that you love a character or are some certain kind of person, you learn the characters as you go along and grow with them. I think, because of all of this, the pacing is very well done. I also appreciate a hard mode / new game+ after beating the game. I hadn't fully leveled yet and now I have the option to get some more powers and stuff next time. I played this on Linux and didn't have any issues. Wish Supergiant would keep on giving us some Linux ports.

Good but Short
TL;DR It's a great game, and if you see it on sale you should definitely check it out. Story: Mediocre. There isn't much story to begin with, and what's there is ok. Not bad. Just ok. It's enough to get you from point A to B, but I don't really feel connection to any of the characters nor to the world. The game is short, and the developers present the story in a minimalistic fashion. You won't get long paragraphs or cut-scenes explaining things. You'll just get a few sentences here and there. Gameplay: I've never played anything like it. It's an RPG and you can attack in real time, but you can also activate "turn" mode which lets you plan your attacks. You can't use it forever though. It has a bar and once depleted it needs a few seconds to refill. You get lots of weapons, and you can mix and match them in so many ways. Every weapons can either be used as A) main attack B) support or C) passive help. There are 17 weapons in the game so you can have 51 different combinations! You can combine weapons to make them stronger or gain added affects like stunning, or you can add weapons to your "passive" slot to gain bonuses like a shield. Theoretically you could spend a lot of time on experimenting, but to be honest, you'll find a few combinations that are overpowered and you'll just spam those. For negatives, I would say there is no tutorial so to speak. I found the game told me valuable info mid-game that I could have used at the beginning. Also the game is a little short. It really could have been a few hours longer.
