A very fun puzzle game!

I bought it on a whim and I'm very glad i did. It's a really well made puzzle game in which you connect nodes. It gradually introduces new elements and increases the complexity of the puzzles. There's also a storyline that helps keeping you invested in solving the puzzles. Some puzzles has a timer that resets when you make successful connections. On top of that there are also boss battles! The graphics and audio are great and makes the game even more engaging. The controls are excellent, I'm currently playing with a controller and it works like a charm. This game is awesome!

Great puzzles,could do without the story

I've been following the development of this game ever since the original Trans Neuronica Prelude demo release. I then got it on Steam Early Access, which is why this review won't show up as a verified review for now, but I am so glad to see that the game finally made its way to GOG as well. The basics of this puzzle game are easy to grasp; connect all nodes of the same color to clear a level. But with every newly introduced node type, the levels become progressively more challenging. To be honest I could do without both the story and the boss battles. Just give me more puzzles! They don't deter too much from the main game, though, so it's still going to be a solid 5/5 for me. Last but not least, the graphics and sound effects are cute, and the soundtrack is really good too - not distracting, but also very nice to listen to on its own.

If you think the same...

Look, there are a BUNCH of problem solvers who will LOVE this game. I am not one of them. Most of the issue is not the difficulty (which is about right), but that once you figure out the solve you often have to back track 1-3 stages to set yourself up to make the solve. While this might not be an issue for some, I really hated having to go back 2 stages to do things differently, because they way I solved the first 2 stages was "wrong" and not the way the creator solved it. Some see "you can't repath stuff due to (imposed condition)" as an addition step in difficulty, I see it as anoyying busywork.
