Classic game - brought back to life.

i'm so glad i got this game to work it bringes back memories of me and my dad playing this on the N64 reliving the missions and getting flashbacks to the good old days of gaming thank you GOG for letting me relive great memories by having this game on your website same goes for all the other old games i use to play

Didnt´aged well, at all
The game is what is it, a piooner on the tactical shooters, but it doesn´t hold nowadays at any level. Controls are way too messed up, with unnecesary reduntant keys, is more like a flight sim than a realistic shooter sim. Menus aren´t intuitive, AI is bad, gameplay is based in constant trial and error. It was a whole inmersive experience back in 1998, but even if some old games resist the pass of time, becoming intemporal classics , Rainbow Six isn´t one of them, it´s a classic, but it need it´s temporal context.

Maybe wait for Gold version on GOG?
The Gold version (on Steam) is relatively pain free to run and looks much nicer, but requires the (unneeded by me) Steam overhead to play. Unfortunately GOG doesn't seem to have Gold just yet.
