Delivers in lore, ambiance and story

As I'm about to finish it I feel I can already review it: I'm not too fond nor versed on card games, but as much as I think gwent fits an army themed game, I dont find the deckbuilding very satysfying for what the game puts in front of you. The puzzles are very well thought and fun, but there's not so much "basic" combat, which initially you expect. The visual novel part of the game is plainly great, beautiful artwork and voice acting (incluyendo el doblaje en español, sorprendentemente). Could have been a 5/5 but I didnt feel it "round", also too many bugs ranging from dangerously unacceptable (freeze, crash, save deleted) to just mildly annoying (graphic icons with wrong info).

Enjoyed it.

I completed Witcher 3 four times - so of course I also bought Thronebreaker and paid 23 USD. The game provided me with 30h of fun. Good story, cool design and often interesting variants in the card games. In my opinion, the game does not have much replay value though. But 23 USD for 30h is a very good deal.

Miło spędzony czas

Zakupiłem jako produkt do ogrania w spokojnym, świątecznym czasie. Oceniam ogółem 9/10. Na plus: - fabuła - różne zakończenia - trudne wybory - zagadki - mechanika pojedynków Na minus: - długość rozgrywki - starałem się "wyczyścić" każdą mapę i pożera to masę czasu, całość można by skrócić o 20%; na ostatniej mapie rozgrywka rozgrywak zaczynała być nieco nużąca - stopień trudności ostatniej bitwy

Loved it.

Brilliant story, excellent characters, beautiful artwork and atmospheric soundtrack. Every decision you are asked to make has real consequences, that you really end up caring about when they have such an impact on the characters you grow to love. This is one of those games that stays with you long after you finish playing.

Great game, even if you don't like gwent

Great writing, hreat voice acting, great atmosphere. This is a very high quality 2D experience wich is very unique compared to most modern day AAA games. If you don't like gwent but still want to play through the story and the world, you can set the game to the lowes difficulty wich makes it very easy. Most battles are also optinal.
