Essential purchase for Diablo fans
I bought this when it came out, remembered it & googled "japanese themed diablo game released 2001" and GOG had it on sale! Bought it less than a week ago & I'm up to 18 hrs already and having a blast. Runs flawlessly on Win10 without needing any fiddling at all.

Throne of Darkness
A good game 3/5 or 55-60%. Positives: - unusual topic - Japan history. - more characters to play at once (no need replay). - japanese weapons - katanas, yumi, yari etc. - didn´t find any technical problems. - you can chose - play it with one or up to 4 characters at once. Negatives: - until end, I didn´t find out some part of crafting systém. - too dark without possibility to change it. - you play 4 characters at once but you personaly control only one at the time, if there is many enemy minions (and there is lots of them), everything is fast and it is hard to find where you actualy are and aim an enemy. - after time boring - just kill this one or that one. - for me weird end of the game.

Gamesave Issue
Anyone else bogged with save issues towards the later part of the game? I lost my saved file once I enter the mountain area. I recall this happened back when I had the original CD too. Huge disappointment for me to what otherwise is a hidden gem of a game during its time. The game is really enjoyable, which is why the disappointment is greater.
