Nothing bests it.

I've been playing games non-stop since I was 5. That makes 22 years. I honestly say to you: no game I've ever played macthes the passion or quality that was put in The Witcher 3. The game is just outstanding, and for those like me who love the universe and know the books and lore from inside out, It's amazing how many little details were considered. If I could resume what the devs had in mind while making this in one word, it'd be passion. Pure and simple. Story is just out of this world. Gameplay is fantastic, engaging and intelligent. Art direction and production is beauty in the flesh. Audio? lelelelelelelelele. The details, graphics, characters, immersion, DLCs... there are no words. BUY IT. The only thing you'll regret is not doing it and wasting what can be one of the best experiences in your entire life. Don't die before you play The Witcher 3.

Best game ever

I have something like 200 games on Steam, GOG, Epic, Battlenet, Origin etc. not to mentioned those from DVD and even CD era gathered from like 30 years. I play very different games, depending on the mood, but if somebody asked me about the bet game I've ever played - this would be it! Intricate world with a rich lore you just want to dive in, check on all those side stories with different endings that are more immersive than many main stories from other AAA titles, glossary for beasts or the potion ingredients, expressive characters, music (recorded with real middle-ages instruments), insane care about the details, voice acting even for those dummy simplest NPCs, wildly satisfying fights, character building options and this truly grim and brutal yet beautiful world, unique homour and a great storytelling among other things - this all adds up to the specific 'witcherish' athmosphere unlike in any other title. You can simply wander across this world even without any purpose and just melt in, you can't get enough and always want to know more about it.

Why the hell they had to destroy skill development by making skills about 50% weaker? And another changes that make us getting those weaker skills faster when we still have the same amount of slots for skills per lvl... What makes this much more frustrating... + What with this running? Was so damn simple, now I need to struggle with controllers... Actually not "now", since I can't even go back to previous version (on ps4, or 4.0 or 1.0, but I have saves for 1.60...) I've just deleted this shit... Totally don't care about those graphic changes or this one mission, thank you CDPRRED for making this game a crap...

I concur - best game ever.

The Witcher 3 was an epic game. But this listing is not only for that game - it's for the DLC too. Their Metacritic scores say most that needs to be said - The Witcher 3: 93, Hearts of Stone DLC: 89, Blood and Wine DLC: 92. Blood and Wine in particular was about as incredible as the game's main story, and added a massive new game area. The amount and quality of content contained in this Game of the Year Edition is staggering - I am doubtful that better value exists elsewhere in the world of gaming.
