Really, really great game
I have Game of the Year edition on my Steam Account (think I should buy the game on GOG as well), I played it for some amount of time, and the only thing that bothers me is Progression and Skills system. I don't really like this, when you're need to choose what perks you need to aquire and activate (!) in order for them to function. But, in all other acpects - The Witcher 3 is just masterpiece! If you didn't ever played this game yet, you totally should.

Unarguably one of the best games ever
Even after years have past and my awe for this game is an old memory - this is still in my mind one of the greatest games ever made. The dedication and care put into this game and the consistency of CDPR is honestly astounding - and the fact that this game can be found for around £10 on sale with all dlc is brilliant and definitely worth a pick up! Not a game I see being easily topped at all.

New players stick to the main quests
Despite of being one of the best games I have ever played I like to point out one caution for new players. If you are like me, simple, you don't want to have too many cards in your hand at one time. What I mean by this is while you play the main quests, be sure not to overwhelm yourself with the enormous amount of sidequests, contract quests and not to mention treasurehunt quests. Simple ignore the sidequests marks and bulletin boards with sidequests on them, leave them for good or for a later time. Stick to the main quests, do sidequests only every now and then if you feel like it. Know that the main story is the sweetest part of the cake. Don't worry if you miss one sidequest, or two or twenty. The game has a New Game+ function so you could always go again, if you would like, and try to finish all available sidequests with your upgraded character. I hope you will enjoy this magnificent title as much as I did. Hats off for developer CD Project RED. Very good work.

A Mile Wide and an Inch Deep
This game is very big. I will give it that. There is easily 200 hours of content here, maybe more? I will never know though, because I dont want to play them. Its not 200 good hours. This is like a 40 hour game that they dragged out to be 200 hours of tedium. A lot of running back and forth, fetching things, endless dialogue that goes nowhere, struggling with inventory management, etc. This game has a ton of bugs too, a full 5 years after release. I saw 250 game of the year awards and expected it to be flawless. Nope. This game has a ton of experience ruining bugs EVERYWHERE. I will give you a sample of them: -The final boss second from the end just froze solid like a statue and did nothing the entire fight. -The mission to kill the king bugged out and didnt start the next mission in the series. As such it became impossible to kill him and ruined the ending of the game. -Its impossible to cast both forms of your signs without modifiying the game files. This bug as been in the game for 5 years at least without being fixed because I found a 5 year old fix in the forums. -Monsters sometimes dont create a body when they die, making items unlootable. This includes important quest monsters that took 20 staight minutes to defeat. You have to reload an earlier save and try again. Gwent was so annoying too. Gwent is hot garbage. Whoever has the best cards wins. Its impossible to just go buy a good deck of cards; you have to very slowly win them one at a time completely at random. Now you might think "who cares? Just dont play Gwent." But the game gives you no choice! It keeps coming up over and over in the main story. People will literally die if you dont have a good deck. They just ram this hot garbage down your throat and make you eat it. Its not a bad game but not great either. I just wish the game would get out of my way and let me have fun. Witcher 3 really lowered my expectations for Cyberpunk.
