seriously overrated
why is it always near-hurricane windy in this country? combat control is poor, normal navigation control is equally frustrating. animations are very clunky. geralt is not very interesting. not my cup of tea, good thing i bought it on sale

The Legendary Game Returns!!!
Since it's release in 2016, I have considered this game to be the best RPG ever! With the highly anticipated "Next Gen Update" out, I have read many articles/reviews about how many players are experiencing glitches, low frame rates etc etc. I was a bit sceptical at first, but I loaded up a new game+ and noticed my frames rates at 4K, were indeed on low side with Ray Tracing activated and DLSS at quality. I was getting maybe 30-60 FPS in high density areas, like Novigrad. On rare occassions I did get some lag or stuttering, but it was rare. Then, I decided to see what the game would look like at 1440P resolution. I was pleasently surprised, at 1440P with RT set to max and DLSS at quality and all settings set to high or ultra, my FPS never dropped below 100. Now I know, alot of people won't want to sacrifice 4k for 1440P, but I have to say the game still looks gorgeous, especially with the new RT lighting and shadows. Whatever the issue is, I am guessing that setting your game to 4K resolution just adds too much demand on hardware for PCs at this point without some more optimization from CDPR. I have been playing the next gen now for 13+ hours with no issues at all at 1440P. Here are my PC spces: CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X, 12 Core (3.8 GHz) RAM: 32 GBs GPU: Gigabyte RTX 3080 Ti OS: Windows 10

It's wonderful. But needs quick fix.
I have an i5-11400, RTX 3060. Next Gen update received, setting is ray tracing off. Hairworks off. The rest was set to ultra setting. Gameplay started with a new game. I don't have a Witcher 2 save file. The game is played at 60 fps on the DX12 and 1080p. There is no big problem, but sometimes there is a decreasing section of fps. It wasn't perfect, but it was enough to enjoy the game. If you play with DX12, it's definitely worse than DX11 This is the current situation. Still, I want to praise CDPR for its hard work and hard work. Witcher 3. The best game that everyone knows. The game is being upgraded anew. It will be a good gift for gamers who like RPG. Graphics have improved, and many have evolved. The coolest thing about it is... Full dubbing in Korean! It feels like playing a whole new game. I want to rate it as a remake, not the Witcher 3 I played until recently. Thank you. Personally, I want to say it's the best game of my life. Recommended for all gamers. Buy it. Play it. Feel it. The real RPG is back. The best news and gift of 2022. CDPR. You guys are the best. Everyone will love you.
