Temple of Elemental EVil
This is a brilliant game considering it was released in 2003 and amazingly, still works under Windows 11! Great if you like character building. It has nice animations, especially for missile weapons. Walking around exploring is a bit tedious but overall, I really enjoyed playing it.

Beautiful and Spellbinding Game
If you love D&D 3.5, this is one of the most faithful recreations of it. The game looks great even at this age and the music / tone is wonderful.

A DnD Classic but flawed without mods
A great campaign with multiple memorable encounters I still remember the time I cast enlarge on my two front line party members to block off the hall way from the north and south while casting grease in front of the both of them to cause the priest of earth that were trying to hit me on both sides to slip and fall as my front lines butchered them with my ranged attacks in the middle turning that hallway into a meat grinder. I'd rate it five stars if it were not a fact that you need mods like Temple+ to run the game well. But even then you can tell how Troika put love into this game as much as they could. This games tutorial actually has different ending slides depending on if the wizard you rescue is alive or dead at the end of it. The only thing that beats this game is running the actual thing on tabletop.

So many problems
There are so many glitches even with the patches and playing with Circle of Eight mod. I can't even begin to explain what all the problems are. Atari made a mess of this - a potentially great game but the frustrating algorithm (miss much?) and ridiculous amount of workarounds you have to do make this game not worth the 6.00 I spent on it. Maybe Steam will release a better version - not holding my breath though.
