lovely cartoony adventure

pretty good overall if you like 'kid ends up in a world inhabitated by animals' kinda stuff, though it's not all fun and games. great presentation, ~12 hours, has all necessary functionality except double-click to move faster (traditional controls, mouse wheel for inventory, hotspot indicator, hotkeys, double-click to exit screen, fast travel, manual saving anytime over multiple slots, separate volumes, etc.). the leprechaun's super mario joke was genius, the endgame dragged on too long. could use faster/fewer animations (fast travel is pretty useless, might as well double-click around),less repeating dialog and no 'well...', 'yeah...' and other fillers as full sentences to skip, often accidentally with the next one. they went crazy with optional collectibles as well but most don't do anything anyway (e.g. you can play cards without a full deck). nor does the hint system/spell, no idea why it's even in the game in this form.

Night of the Rabbit

This game had some potential but it has too many bugs if using a mouse. I had to quit near the end because some things simply wouldnt work using a mouse. It could do with alot less dialogue as well, its irritating. it is more geared towards young children as well.

Fun little game

This game has beautiful artwork and music. The story is a little strange but enjoyable nonetheless, Unfortunately I ran into a bug with the mini game at the very end, but luckily you can skip.

Sorry Daedalic disappointed by this one.

The voice acting is very ok. But there is way too much dialogue. The story is too often really lame. As an old gamer I'm probably not the audience, the story is for a (dumb) 6 year old ? But the puzzling part is sometimes hard to get around. Finished it as a chore with a walkthrough at hand. The game is slow, too many animations, back-and-forth and uninteresting monologues and cinematics... There are good and funny moments but... The sticky narrator : no interest. Didn't even look at the bonus stories. The time/place windows moment is fun. The "card game" = the seven families games with 4 cards by family against a computer ?! really !!? Seriously ?! Are we supposed to be 5 years old ...or four ? The amalgam between magic and prestidigitation is always a fatal error and an horrendous mistake, it should have raised a red flag... Ah and there is a very British atmosphere but in a bad mixture full of platitudes, banalities... 3.4
