The Legend of Skye

Really enjoyed playing this one, one of the best classic p&c adventures I have ever played. You know when you have the feeling the game is nearing the end, and you don't want it to finish jet? This is that kind of game, really lovely pixel art adventure, that is like blast from the past, combining some elements of the best classic adventure games like monkey island and other sierra games. It has that weird humor inside that is being extinct and now brought back with this game. thanks to developers for that, for making this game as the game used to be. The game is long enough, have multiple puzzles that are fun and enjoyable to solve, it is nicely divided into segments/chapters with its on missions inside every chapter. if you enjoy old school adventure games like Monkey island or Leisure Suit Larry you should play this game.

A very well designed poimt and click game in the classic LucasArts style. Fun writing and puzzles. The puzzle design mostly made sense but there was one or two that felt a bit random. Good music as well. Taking a point of mainly because the depiction of the druid shaman felt a bit racist (it's a very stereotypical "mystical native american" character) and very out of place in the game world. I think in a game made in 2024 we can do a bit better maybe. Ending slightly underwhelming.

I only played a few minutes of this game so far. I noticed that there is no voice overs for the dialogue, and any modern point and click adventure made in 2024 I would have expected to have professional voice actors. Additionally, the dialogue for some of the characters does not use phrasing that you would expect from someone in that position. I have already encountered typos as well, so that makes me a little worried for the rest of the game. I love point and click adventure games though, so I'm going to keep playing and will update this review as time progresses.
