Good and bad

This game has a lot going for it, but also a lot going against it. The nice things: * Very nice graphic * Huge and lengthy story * Nice powers and good variety of monsters * Brilliant companion full of humour * Nice levelling up: you feel your power increase... smoothly. * Good variety of environments * Nice atmosphere * Deep item mechanics: re-forge/enchant/improve The bad things * Enemies mobs you too much: ** Not much tactics if not running away a bit to keep them busy, leaving your companion bashing them ** You can't appreciate the nice graphics ** You don't understand what's going on * Way too many enemies in a single level: it get repetitive after a while * Sometimes you loose your health so quickly you don't have time to use a potion * The crafting mechanics are a bit random: you think to create something powerful, but end up with crap * Lots of skills seems useless and progression is not clear: highest level skills seems ... weaker?

Nice arpg :)

A good time spent (less than 40h00 to finish it in normal with a pad :p) - nice game - consistent environment - perfect music for the universe - pleasant and varied - sometimes surprising winks. - a funny couple. I regret the slowness of the character, and sometimes a too fixed camera which could have made the course more fluid. But a good gaming experience, better than Diablo 3. Not playing online, I can't say. A nice trip to Borgovia.

Great game.

As a fan of "Diablo-likes", I really enjoyed this one. Totally worth picking up if you like the genre and it's on sale for 80-90% off (which is how I got it for $5 about a year ago).

Old ingredients in form of new meal

Old ingredients in form of new meal, storyline is quite interesting, most dialogue between Lady Katarina and our Avatar is quite funny. Also in game we can encounter many easter eggs. Good H&S with many repeatable quest in freak bloody bath...

Too easy

I was quite excited to buy this game originally, but once I actually started playing it, I found it very cookie-cutter dungeon crawler with a twist - it's amazingly easy to the point I got bored and uninstalled it. However, that being said, if you liked Diablo and Diablo II, I recommend this. Especially if it's on sale.
