Lots of fun but eventually repeatable
There are LOTS of stories to be uncovered in Skyrim, I am 45 hours in and only discovered like 30-40% of the map. But at some point it becomes too much of a walking/sprinting simulator or trying to find a way across or to the top of a mountain. If you get tired of listening to NPCs and reading books/letters/notes, the side quests come down to: go there (usually the other side of the map - thank God fast travel exists), kill something, bring the item back. The UI is also questionable, if I want to cast a spell (say healing spell in the middle of the fight) I have to: 1) Go to menu 2) Choose a spell 3) Go out of menu 4) Cast a spell 5) Go back into menu 6) Choose the weapon I initially was fighting with 7) Continue fighting but you might have to do this all over again in 5 seconds Then there's also hundreds of items and no search function. After committing a lot of hours into the game you eventually learn what item is in what category, but if you're just starting, it's going to be a pain. Also - possibly spent way too many hours trying to figure out what to throw away from my backpack so I can run again. All in all, I think Skyrim is a game that every gamer has to try in their lifetime, but I wouldn't call it a masterpiece.
