Overseer
I never played the original... just played this version and I bloody loved it. One of the best games ever created. Must admit didn't give me the creeps as bad as Pandora Directive did but still give it mad props

Spoiled for ever...
Back in 1999 we bought our first PC, didn't think we needed one. But, I wanted to use our new toy too so I borrowed a videogame from the library. Tex Murphy: Overseer. Never heard of the guy but it matched the specs of our PC and Tex looked kind of cute so what the hey, right? Oh boy, I got so totally hooked, couldn't stop gaming even though I died like a thousand times. I was really bad at gaming back then. So funny, cool video's, famous actors! Had to renew a couple times at the library because I wanted to finish it and see what happenend to Tex and friends. And now I found Tex again, I fully expect this game to be as exciting and funny as ten years ago because this game sure spoiled me for ever by setting the game standard so very high...

Tex Murphy sequel finally underway
Haven't played Overseer yet, but loved the other games in the series and wanted to direct anyone interested to http://kck.st/L5jGh9. There's a kickstarter to raise funding for the next Tex Murphy adventure, "Project Fedora." Spread the word!

Not working
The game is not properly set-up to work from the start. Videos & Music are not working at all and, even after manual adjustments using third party patches or tools, the game still does not work. I am probably doing something wrong, but 1 hour was enough for me to decide to delete the game. Buying the game should at least cover the functionality of it.

Heed the recent reviews
It simply doesn't run. I have 4 minutes in-game time, and all of those 4 minutes were from the 1-2 seconds it takes to click play and have it close on its own. Sadly, this game will probably be going on a growing list of games that simply do not work. Like most games on the list, the main solution suggested is to download some random person's unofficial patch. I should be asking for refunds instead of eating the cost. Eventually I just won't spend my money here anymore. I understand it's probably difficult to keep these old games running properly, but it IS actually more fun to just set my money on fire then spend it on this.
