Starring the acclaimed British actor, and 2-time Oscar nominee, John Hurt (Contact, Love and Death on Long Island, Elephant Man) TLC is a feature-length film seamlessly combined with computer-game like navigation and interactivity.
The player is voyeur, detective, judge, and patient all in one. Between each variable scene, Dr. Turner enlists the viewer's help in assessing the behaviour of each of the films characters - Turner's beautiful, deluded patient, her dangerous husband, and the mysterious, seductive psychiatric nurse enlisted to provide what may, or may not be, TENDER LOVING CARE.
The viewer's answers to Dr. Turner questions the shape the course of the action and the final outcome of the story. The viewer, too, becomes one of Dr. Turner's patients, taking a series of Thematic Apperception Tests (TATs), the results of which create a progressively accumulating personal psychological profile.

Gabriel Knight II remains my gold-standard for FMV.

Bohaterowie postępują sprzecznie, unikają logicznego myślenia, a lepszych psychiatrów widziałem w produkcjach pornograficznych.

Jeśli masz ciary i podnoszą Ci się włosy na rękach od kineskopowych telewizorów, lubisz stare filmy, z których poza pseudoerotyzmem wycieka również nadambicja kiepskich scenarzystów, a Twoim największym pragnieniem jest to, by John Hurt zadawał Ci niewygodne, intymne i bardzo upierdliwe pytania na temat Twojej seksualności, będzie to Twoja ulubiona gra.
One of the most preposterous and ill-conceived (and worst acted) movies I have ever seen.
Even the "game" within (more like a cheap beach-magazine psychology test, actually) is disappointing, as most of the "deductions" in the "profile" section simply repeat in different words the same concepts that the "patient" (i.e. yourself) just answered to a few dumb questions -- which in turn suffer from several biases, so you will often wish there's a "None of the above" button (there's not, alas). Ah, you can skip the last set of answers: after the final credits you'll have no way to read your "profile" again. Not that it could be useful anyway.
In short: avoid, avoid, avoid.
