Everything works perfectly, multiplayer is a little difficult to get working though, i couldnt find away to play with my friend who also bought the game. While not the fault of the gameplay mechanics or story, (which are both a-ok), the multiplayer aspect of the game is seemingly missing or difficult to work out for average players and i thought it would be a good idea to mention it.

This game is one of the best tactical squad based shooters in my opinion. There are tons of options for loadouts for you and your team and the missions are quite varied. Every mission seems fun and there is a good bit of thinking that has to go into each mission to get the top rating. The game really is intense and there's nothing quite like getting a top rating in a very hard mission knowing you did everything correctly. 5/5 stars.

This is basically a police simulator but playing as a SWAT leader taking out criminals with your team. It is a very good tactical shooter if you want to test yourself on how good of a cop you are. I recommend the SEF mod since it got more gears and weapons.

Over a decade later, SWAT 4 is still the pinnacle of tactical shooters. No other shooter has even come close to the feeling of storming buildings and arresting perps like SWAT 4. Shooters like this, which actually place consequence on your actions and provide you choice in how you approach situations, are a lost art. SWAT doesn't hold your hand -- you can shoot your commanding officer in the face and fail the training mission 5 seconds in. It doesn't place arbitrary limits on you. And, crucially, it gives you ways to interact with both enemies and innocents beyond just shooting them. And that's something you are not gonna see in a lot of games from this decade.
