annoying and uneven, but excellent music
There is a good game in there, but for me it has some very annoying faults: The pulsing of the whole screen syncing to the beat of the music is irritating and makes the whole thing very unprecise, something a game as fast as this one should avoid at all costs. The widescreen aspect ratio doesn't go very well with the need to view what's ahead in all directions. I often blame the limited view upwards/downwards for a death, while I would much rather blame my missing concentration and slow reflexes. If the game was hard but clearer and more precise, it would be much more of a joy to play.
