Outstanding

Amazing, gripping story and pacing. Short and sweet, sounds, looks and plays perfectly. Investigative point and click thriller with puzzles and supernatural vibe. This game is one of those forgotten gems that should be revisited by gamers looking for some great pieces of digital entertainment. Better than most modern shiny AAA turds. The only downside is being on the short side. One of those "mouse in one hand, beer in another", kind of relaxing times. Buy it, it has a true Good Old Game seal of approval.

Great Story

graphics and game play might not be prefect but story line, characters and environments were smartly developed. I really enjoyed this game when it released back in 2005

Okay game with terrible puzzles and bugs

Would be an okay game without the terrible trial and error puzzles and the technical issues I had (like not being able to move between places). The story is okay but full of plot holes and it's unfinished terribly. 4 years later (!!!) they released Still Life 2 which is supposedly the rest of the story but... just how can you release a game that is missing at least half of the story and the first half that you get is full of errors and plot holes.... Also the gameplay is very unpolished (we saw awesomeness way before, like Broken Sword), the typical "you can't use/take things that are not relevant at the moment by story" and the terribly made puzzles where the only way to proceed is to be lucky (liek the stupid laser robot puzzle). Overall a great disappointment.

Wyjątkowe doświadczenie, ale nie bez wad

Fajny point and click, problem z nim polega na tym, że zagadki środowiskowe są baardzo proste, a z kolei zagadki typowo logiczne są od bardzo łątwych do bardzo irytujących (jak otwieranie zamków). Mimo wszystko fanom przygodówek polecam.

My first time playing this game

I love the theme and story. I am not big on the older adventure games puzzle logic (like Grim Fandango) so I had the help of a guide here and there even though the puzzles are not too difficult. I believe you can still finish the game without guides as a newcomer but it would take some extra few hours and I was just more interested in the story rather than accomplishing puzzles. I like point-and-click games (Sam & Max) so decided to give this a shot and I am happy to have done that and looking to play the rest of the series as well and I wish I have done it sooner. The game worked out of the box but I had a freeze issue that needed fixing. Check out PCGamingWiki's page for Still Life if you had it too.
