If they wanted something more reasonable
...like $10-$15, then sure, but I'm not paying new game price for a game that's nearly as old as I am just because it has a fancy new paintjob.

Looks just like I 'remember' it!
It's the game I played as a kid, but improved in every way for modern systems with high refresh monitors. The ability to switch between the new rendering and old school rendering is a nice touch, and really drives home just how much has changed, even though you'd swear the game *looks* just like it did back in the 90s! If you've never played the game before, I'd say get it on sale. If you played this game way back in the day, I'd say it's worth it full price to support this kind of preservation effort.

Vertical auto aim in ENHANCED wtf?
If this is enhanced edition it should be option to switch on and off vertical auto aim. What the fk is that!!??

An excellent remaster, but...
This remaster is near perfect. It's a faithful update of the original game, with new high-resolution graphics and quality of life settings. It's everything that anyone who's a fan of the original game could reasonably want from a remaster. My only criticisms are the cel shading style for the cutscenes (which, aside from the pre-rendered shots, appear to have been upscaled), which are at odds with the original art direction and the price of the game at launch (£25).

Pretty good Remaster but there are some things.
I enjoyed my time with DF Remaster. I loved the original of this game and still have the CD. I enjoyed all the extras that came with game also. Vault stuff that had a game renders, concept art and the playable omitted Avenger level. The gameplay is great and looks fantastic on my 4k screen. The cut scenes are also very nicely rendered. However, the game does have some graphical issues. Such as looking up to shoot at a target. The camera goes into a fish eye like lens, which can be a little off putting. Particularly if your a gamer that FPS games can make you queasy after a bit. Also, sometimes, an enemy will appear right in front of you when there wasn't an enemy there a few seconds ago. That said, I would certainly recommend this game to any who enjoy FPS games, Star Wars (Lucas Era), or Good Old Games.
