STAR WARS™ Battlefront (Classic, 2004)

Playing this game in Windows 11 on modern hardware and it's smooth as silk. The game isn't demanding enough to make VSync an issue on 60Hz monitors and my Creative AE-5 Plus soundcard is compatible with the OpenAL hardware acceleration. Action is fast & fair, the classic units are pure nostalgia, and the soundtrack is outstanding of course. Great pickup when on sale,

Dzięki GOG.COM! Jesteście wielcy. Gra chodzi dobrze. Fajny shooter dla fanów Star Wars. Można rozegrać najważniejsze bitwy SW. W porównani do BF II (2005) nie ma rycerzy Jedi, ale to nie przeszkadza. Nie ma tu żadnych wodotrysków. Tylko mapa, wrogowie i cele do zrealizowania. Jak dla mnie idealnie.

I've spent many hours on this game. Being immersed in a section of the Star Wars galaxy has a strong appeal. You have moments where you feel like a real Billy Badcat. On the other hand, a few levels are almost impossible to beat. It seems to require a fair amount of luck, and I don't like playing a level 50 times just to see if I can get one 10-second section of gameplay to go right.

Not a port. Console is blessed to even have experienced this gem as this was clearly inspired by Battlefield 1942. This is the all time best battlefront. The maps were tremendous, every battle was breath taking and no OP Jedi.

Fun game, barely works on Windows 11.
