Perfect 2000-era Star Trek goodness

I can't possibly be objective about this. This appeared during that wonderful period around the millenium where a bunch of excellent Quake-engine games were coming out (American McGee's Alice, Return to Castle Wolfenstein...) AND Activision were releasing a whole load of Star Trek games of various genres (Armada I & II...) so if you were a nerdy adolescent it was a very good time indeed to be into computer games. As a first-person-shooter it's merely ok: there's very little that will surprise players here. Where this shines is as a fan artefact as it allows you to wander around the Voyager and interact with the ship and its characters (all played by their original actors!) and that's honestly such a joy. This runs just perfectly for me, both when I downloaded and played it from GOG a few years ago and on my more recent playthrough on a completely different computer in 2025. No issues whatsoever.

Great Classic

If you are into any of the star trek Franchise then Elite Force and Elite Force II are worth a visit at some point. Graphics are quite Dated now, but Gameplay and story are still good. 7.5/10

enjoyable Star Trek classic

enjoyed playing the game, and loved the story (despite not being a fan of FPS). I would recommend the game to Star Trek fans

Solid game

The game play is simple and straight forward. The game is consistent in itself. It's starting a bit boring, but it's getting better and better with time. Even I'm no big fan of this Star Trek stuff, the game was quite entertaining.

Excellent Star Trek experience

I had a great time playing through this again for the first time in over 20 years. The story is engaging and the presence of the full Voyager TV cast really helps the immersion. The 'Hazard Team' introduces new characters who also offer interesting personalities. There is plenty of variety in the missions, weapons and enemies. In fact I can't really think of anything I don't like about this game, except the sometimes janky AI which is more a sign of its age than any sort of criticism.
