A fun Star Trek Game
This Star Trek game wasn't one of the best but it was fun, so glad that it's on GOG now becasue I have not been able to play it for years because of compatibility issuse with older versions of windows. Its nice that I can revisit this on modern day windows.

Spooky squad game
I loved this game when I played through it many years ago. Steep difficulty curve but balanced out by being able to save wherever you like, so if your plasma grenade only knocked out 3 of those 4 Borg drones you can try again until you get it right. Brutal vision cones (especially in the later levels!) meant pushing forward sometimes literally step by step was a big feature. Just don't get caught phasering too many Klingons or your mission is sure to fail!

Good but a couple of caveats
Loved this game. Played smooth, and so much fun controlling trek characters. I did find some of the missions to be quite difficult though. The other thing is that cooperative gaming was included, but even on a LAN, it almost always desynced once per mission, made what should have been an amazing experience a bit frustrating. Awesome game tho.

A mediocre game based on Star Trek
Star Trek away team - effectively being a Commandos' Clone - is not the worst nor the best... It just is. Care, it is not a bad game... it is a decent one, even with some unique perks typical of the Star Trek Epopea (Such as phasers and other Sci-fi weapons and features). Problem is: the game is both dull and easy (an horrific combination for a game, let me tell you), and this coming from me (I am definitely not an expert in this kind of game.) Personally, don't even know how it got 4 stars on Gog: I was going to give it a 2 but in the end it is a decent (?) game. So, if you are fan you might want to check it out.. if not.. stay clear and jump to lightspeed (towards better games, I hope).

Love this game
This is one of my all time favourites, isometric and Star Trek, what a combination, just wish they would remake games like this and the original fallout 1 and 2
