Enter the dystopian world of SPRAWL, a hardcore retro FPS set in an endless cyberpunk megalopolis. Advances in cybernetics and artificial intelligence pushed humanity into a new era, but that golden age has crumbled…leaving behind a broken world.
Play as SEVEN, a disgraced special ops super soldier who finds herself embroiled in conflict with government forces trying to kill her while a mysterious voice in her head pushes her to survive. Betrayed by her organization and on a mission to overthrow the Junta, a military regime that rules the sprawl with an iron fist, SEVEN must escape the walled city and discover what secrets lie at the SPIRE.
The streets of the SPRAWL are vast and the armies of the corporate government seem endless. But the dark alleys and dilapidated apartment surfaces are all compatible with the “Icarus” cybernetic implant, allowing SEVEN to perform gravity-defying wall-running maneuvers and slow down time with excess adrenaline drops from dismembered enemies. With a horde of different troop types and carefully designed weapons, she will be pushed to the limit to survive.

To escape the desolate, AI-controlled city you’re gonna need to think quickly and master your weapons in a high-speed game of combat chess. Slash with your katana, keep a steady hand for headshots with the pistol, and use the powerhouse shotgun to jump up and out of range. Quickly swap weapons with no slowdown as you finish your enemies with precision aiming and slow down time for headshots.
Get the best of your enemies and defy gravity with a cybernetic implant. Experience a new approach to wallrunning with seamless transitions from the ground to the walls, creating an entirely new dimension for exploration and combat. Solve combat situations creatively to get different rewards: ammo, health boosts, and refills of your bullet time adrenal meter.
Explore a retro-futuristic and dystopian world filled with deep lore and visually inspired by classics like Akira and Ghost in the Shell.
While racing to the Spire, a variety of enemies will present new challenges to overcome. You’ll need to adjust on the fly to different attack patterns. Fast paced Shooter with parkour
A real movement shooter. Pretty entertaining and refreshing. I recommend it a lot if you like frenetic gameplay. However, consider this game is somehow short, so it's more like a very condensed experience.

Solid shooter
Pros: - Combo based gunplay akin to doom eternal, which you weapon swap to bypass reload to pump out more dps is a huge plus for me. - Pretty smooth movement, exactly how i'd expect the MC to move lorewise. - Good overall weapon variety, each weapon synergizes with weapon swap comboing, maybe except of smg, I mostly forgot it existed and would only use it when I wanna be lazy and not weapon swap. - Banger ost, reminds me of GITS and a bit of nier with the otherworldly vocal chanting. - The aesthetics, I'm a huge fan of cyberpunk/post apocalyptic worlds so I'm biased here. - I find bullet time cool and fits the protag so i'm listing it as a pro. Neutral: - The level design, it's alright, well structured overall when it comes to being a combat arena, but the main gameplay loop when it comes to levels is, fight, find keycard/open levers, progress. Varied how you do it buy samey in it's structure. - Enemy variety is fine, I like how they are used at the end of the game, they can get opressive which is fun af. But overall the same throwaway soldier dudes who appeared at the start will still be at the last levels mixed in with new mechs and units. Cons: - The bosses are kind of really meh, very non memorable and underwhelming, i found the mob fights more fun honestly. - Didn't like the ending. Can't describe it since it's spoilers, but I don't like that happening to my MCs - The aim assist on controller is horrid. It sticks to the last tagged enemy weakspot and it's annoying to reposition. Specially when using bullet time, it feels like it slows down sensitivity. W/O it the sens is just too weird, made me not play this on steam deck and just play on pc using kbm. Also swapping with weapon wheel while using bullet time disables bullet time, while swapping with keybinds does not. Defo worth it to play if you're into fast combo based shooters. More fun than most triple A 2024 release i've played honestly.

Pretty Good
A short boomer-movement-shooter that focused on that and it's wall running mechanic very well. Would likely play through it a couple of times in the future. Banger OST as well.

Pretty good
PROS: Great old school arena shooter campaign with the best implementation of wallrunning in any single player FPS. CONS: Not a fan of the bullet-time bar that doesn't auto-regenerate (you need to refilli it manually with drops)
