Opis

A unique puzzle mechanic using melodies

In Sonority the players explore a lost world in which music is magic and with whose help you can progress through the game.

The puzzles are solved by the correct arrangement of notes. The solution is deduced acoustically or using symbols. No previous musical knowledge necessary.



The player takes on the role of young Esther, who sets out on a journey to help a friend. Equipped with her pan flute, she reaches the mysterious rockery. But soon her path is blocked and she must use the power of music to overcome the obstacles. Not always an easy task.



In a world lapsed into silence, Esther rediscovers lost songs and mossy works of art. Naturally aided by singing stones and a talking raccoon. Yet there seems to be no trace of the legendary preceptors of music.





The further you get, the trickier the game becomes. Collect new notes and instruments to overcome even the most difficult puzzles of the preceptors.

Dissapointing

When I was playing LOOM(1990), playing music was really magic and there were moments I thoght 'wow, it works like this!'. Where are the magics gone? In Sonority, only what you can do with your music notes is moving that **** platforms. Worse thing is, there is no reason it should be music note! If the were replaced by numbers, there would be no difference. Oh, I forgot about locked chests... it was only good thing in the game. To unlock the chest, musical notes should be identified by hearing them so it was OK. But everything else, so dissapointed.

Interestinging little game

I understand stardog573 when he is disappointed because he likes real musical games but if you are like me and you don't have the right ear and you like mathetical games it is for you ;-). For me games where you have to replay a music are nightmares. And happily music is related to maths. But this one is just mathematics, logic, and memory (oops spoiler;-)). The chest puzzles can be solved without reckognizing notes ;-). It is a new kind of interesting game. It is a little difficult to enter in it because you need to understand the logic of the notes by yourself. But then, it becomes easy. There are nevertheless two things I haven't liked in this game : - the last puzzle is a little approximative and tricky - sometimes the little hero of this game is stuck by the ground. And it happens when you are in a hurry. It is then fustrating and irritating. Try another way. Else I recommend this game to players who like puzzles with logic and non too difficult game but challenging. A last word, I haven't been very attached to the story but the musics and the songs are nice.

Schönes Spiel für zwischendurch

DEUTSCH: Erst einmal vorweg; das Spiel hat mir viel Freude bereitet. Es hat einen schönen Soundtrack. An die Noten-Rätsel sollte man nicht allzu hohe Ansprüche stellen. Das Spiel ist in ca. 3-5 Stunden durchgespielt, lädt aber (zumindest mich) dazu ein es noch einmal zu spielen. Wer gerne Rätsel löst, und/oder gerne in alten Ruinen herumläuft dem wird es sicherlich gefallen. Als Spiel für Zwischendurch ist es ebenfalls geeignet. Fazit: + Schöne Grafik + Nette Geschichte + Schöner Soundtrack - Es ist relativ kurz - Ein kleines Filmchen zum Abschluß der Geschichte wäre schön gewesen ENGLISH (auto translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator): First of all; I enjoyed the game a lot. It has a nice soundtrack. You shouldn't make too high demands on the note-puzzles. The game is played through in about 3-5 hours, but invites (at least me) to play it again. If you like solving puzzles and/or walking around in old ruins, you will surely like it. As a game for in between it is also suitable. Conclusion: + Beautiful graphics + Nice story + Nice soundtrack - It is relatively short - A little movie at the end of the story would have been nice

Fun game to make yourself feel better

Finally played, enjoyed most of it Criticisms 1 - There is supposed to be a hidden level somewhere that I cannot find and no information online about it, if you are an Achievement hunter you need to find this for a hidden GOG Achievement 2 - Certain of the gold music symbols to find are really hidden in spots you may have to take time to find 3 - The music chests only play when near them, would have been better if they played in their whole area or gave you an in game playlist to chose from Game may seem too easy to some but finishing it does make you feel better especially if other games get you down as live service games have for me lately
