Flawed, but excellent
Many of the reviews here will refer to X-Com, to which this is a worthy successor. It's a turn-based tactical set in WW2 with RPG elements, and manages to add mostly-destructable terrain into the bargain. There are some issues. The translation is dodgy in a couple of places (meduim grenades anyone?) and there are far too few scenarios supplied in the random encounters. The voice acting is also of variable quality. The first two criticisms can be addressed by mods from what is a fairly extensive fanbase. Despite owning the disc version of this I've been very happy to repurchase this particular one - the original release utilised a version of Securom which vehemently disagreed with any disc-imaging software, and which hampered what is otherwise a deep, involving and above all fun game.
