Sid Meier's Colonization

Memory said this was a great game, and it could have been. All it needed was little effort towards balance. Real diplomacy with the natives instead of Genocide. Maybe use the entire map instead of putting everyone 8 squares apart. So close and so Bad.

This is the game I have spent most time playing hands down! Absolutly loved it in 1994 and still do. Can be played over and over. I still play my 1994 copy on DOS-box.

One of my favorite games of the 90's. Engaging and random early game keeps you coming back to colonize the america's again and again. Ignore the graphics, turn based strategy doesn't get much better than this. Thank you Sid Meir!

You won't be disappointed. I was curious as to whether this game would still be as fun today as it was way back when. I downloaded it, installed, and I was stunned as to how much of a timeless work of brilliance this game was and still is to this day.
