Traktor beam
I remember paying 7$ an hour at an internet cafe only to tractor beam my way through cities without ever shooting my gun. Just the badass feeling of being a robot.

Historic
This was my very first FPS. If I could choose one game that was most important to me, this would be it. The story is immeasurably deep and original, and the characters are timeless. While others would dismiss this as a simple shooter with little mechanics, I praise it as one of the most important titles under the FPS genre. Unfortunately, its close release to Half-Life gave it much less recognition than it deserved.

Doesn't deserve to be underrated.
This game is simply awesome. Which other FPS gives you the ability to play as either human or pilot a mech that was ripped out from a really cool mecha anime? Plus.....when the HELL will this game get a sequel?
