Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director’s Cut is a standalone release of Harebrained Schemes' critically-acclaimed Dragonfall campaign, which first premiered as a major expansion for Shadowrun Returns. The Director's Cut adds a host of new content and enhancements to the original game: 5 all-new missions, alternate endings, new music, a redesigned interface, team customization options, a revamped combat system, and more - making it the definitive version of this one-of-a-kind cyberpunk RPG experience.
In 2012, magic returned to our world, awakening powerful creatures of myth and legend. Among them was the Great Dragon Feuerschwinge, who emerged without warning from the mountains of Germany, unleashing fire, death, and untold destruction across the countryside. It took German forces nearly four months to finally shoot her down - and when they did, their victory became known as The Dragonfall.
It’s 42 years later - 2054 - and the world has changed. Unchecked advances in technology have blurred the line between man and machine. Elves and trolls walk among us, ruthless corporations bleed the world dry, and Feuerschwinge’s reign of terror is just a distant memory. Germany is splintered - a stable anarchy known as the “Flux State” controls the city of Berlin. It’s a place where power is ephemeral, almost anything goes, and the right connections can be the difference between success and starvation. A great run in the shadows
I had a more in-depth review, but it seems the internet ate it. It's a great turn-based RPG in the mold of yesterday's classics, and although the interface has been improved, it's still really clunky. It's good. It's worth the buy. It isn't perfect, but it's as close as we'll come for a while.

Warning about a big bug during a mission
How bad it is ! This game is wonderfull, better than the 1rst Shadowrun (team members selection, outfits, mission's selection...). BUT, there is an important bug during a long mission near to the end of the game (Apex mission if I remember : a difficult mission with a timing fot a fight in and out of the matrix) : - to save is impossible - to try to save cause an impossibility to clic or interact in general (during the battle). The solution ? No one, just rush the mission without a save, and hope that this bug of the interface never happen during the mission ! The rest of the game is perfect, except... WHY THERE IS NO FRENCH TRADUCTION ?

Everything is great but the load time.
A friend managed to defeat the big bad at the start of his game, but scripting being what it is, he gained nothing from it. The atmosphere is less bleak than Shadowrun Returns. A beautiful game. The fighting is true to the RPG, so no Jagged Alliance 2 in brilliance, but passable.The story isn't bad. It does take a long time to load a scene, so if you don't have a high end machine, schedule other things to do when you play. Going back to a save in the same area does not require the whole area to load again, so that is the upside.

Like a line: Thin, and boring quite fast
I really tried to play the game but everything is too simplified and linear. Theres no roleplaying, no freedom, nothing that you choose actually matters, its just feels dead, and not very pretty to look at. The plot is also pretty mediocre and the dialogs not interesting, at least from the start. Older games did it wayyy better, I sincerely dont understand the reviews in GoG. Isometric rpg is wayy much bigger and better than this.
