Insanity never so sweet

In the genre of puzzle games, strategies, and games that try to freak you out with shock moments and sudden flash evvents. In all of that hayday, you have this little gem. I played this when I was in high school. It took me two days ot beat it, and I loved every warped second of it. The final level made me sweat cold fear. It required skill, patience, time, and intuition. All told, one of the most mind invasive games I have ever played. It will haunt you when you close your eyes.

Bone chilling

One of the most bizarre, freaky, dark games I know. Its story is solid, though a bit slow at the beginning. The puzzles are difficult and yet logical, so you can solve them without help and yet they keep the atmosphere of the game. It has aged really well staying at the top of my "best games ever" list and you definitely won't regret getting it.

Wonderfully creepy and mysterious

I remember my dad picked this game up for me on a whim one day as he was heading home and it turned out better than we ever could have hoped. I was instantly immersed in the mysterious and disturbing world that was presented. Some of the controls will be hard to deal with compared with today's gaming technology, but this is a truly brilliant look into one man's psychological horrors.

A great game

I was a little skeptical when I made this purchase but the simple yet intriguing game system along with a curiously engaging storyline makes this game one I would really recommend. It's a simple exploratory-type point and click game but the mechanics and puzzles are fun yet challenging. The story keeps you guessing until the very end. Thanks to that, I feel it also has replay value. For a gamer playing it for the first time in 2013, I think this game deserves the 5-star rating.

Story that sticks with you

This is one of those games that ticks with you for a long time after completing it. I first played this game when I was a teenager, super into action games and adventure games like the King's Quest and Legend Of Kyrandia series. As a big fan of horror in general, I was drawn to this game from seeing screenshots and reading reviews. I was not disappointed. From the opening sequence through the insane, well-designed levels, this game keeps you thinking and immerses you deeper and deeper as the story goes on. Puzzles are not exactly genius level, but still remain fun and exciting. The dialogue and voice acting is really great, for the most part, as well. This is the kind of game that makes me put down an XBOX controller and appreciate going back and re-living the days of desktop computers and self-installed graphics cards. Highly recommended for anyone interested in adventure games or the horror/thriller genre.
