Great game, needs fixing

The remaster has left the game very jittery with heavy lag spikes even on the lowest graphics setting, my rig is set to ultra by default.

Just get the original

It looks a bit better, and it plays significantly worse with a lot more bugs in it. Vehicles often spawn in the road and explode for you to crash into. The AI will endlessly drive into walls in a mission destroying the vehicle making you start over. I couldn't pinpoint it, but there is an amount of time or a mission that after that point, the game was just a crawling stuttering mess. I wouldn't recommend it even if it was free.
