TLDR: It's pretty fun to play as RoboCop for a while but only those desperately seeking fan service despite its questionable quality will find enjoyment beyond the first hour. FULL: Remember RoboCop 3? This game is kinda like that (it's also set in between 2 and 3). Sure you get more RoboCop but it's not even close to capturing any aspect of the OG film. The story is weak, like frail elderly weak. The jokes and satire throughout are alright but again it's not the scathing hilarious satire of the OG film, it's just a flimsy attempt to recreate it. Having Peter Weller as the voice of RoboCop is awesome even if his voice has been altered a bit too much but the rest of the VA cast don't even remotely try to sound like their movie counterparts which is disappointing and kinda annoying. But the biggest issues are the gameplay and graphics themselves. Gameplay doesn't really deviate much; walk around, collect "evidence", shoot a lot and occasionaly run through some basic "investigation" style sidequests that have about as much depth as a kiddie pool. There's a levelling up and upgrade system for Robo and his gun but its all standard fare and feels tacked on just to artificially add length/depth. The level designs are serviceable at best, semi open areas with a lot of reused assets that aren't too dissimilar to what we got from Teyon's Terminator game. Ultimately, everything has a rough edge to it that's really more at home with a fanmade project rather than a studio project, issues like assets and textures not loading properly, facial animations and syncing with the dialogue is very hit and miss. It's the kind of jank and lack of polish that one cannot justify paying full price for or even half price. I'd say minimum 60% discount otherwise you're overpaying.
