Very good game. Especially for the price
This is after about 6 hours of gameplay, so I haven't completed the game yet, but I think I've gotten hang of game feel and mechanics enough to write something about it. So far, I think that the 5€ price that I payed for this is a steal and I think that I should have payed more for it, so at least I can give it a positive review. And propably buy DLC:s afterwards. First of all, the atmosphere of the game is 10/10 and, without confirming it, I am sure that developers are fans of the original Robocop movie. Game mechanics also make the game fun to play, keeping the feel of the movies at the same time. Little bit clunky feeling every now and there, but I have enjoyed it so far, except for these: Merging of chips is apparently compeletely useless game mechanic. Secondly, I'm not sure if it a fov issue, but with my 49" ultra wide screen, I constantly feel like the picture is too much zoomed in, so it's hard to play long sessions, because it gives nausea feeling when trying to check all the things around you and at the same time constantly feeling that the picture is too much zoomed in. Not enough for me to want stop playing though! Voice acting has also been good so far and graphics are good. There is little bit of optimizing issues, like time to time game suddenly runs like 1 fps for few seconds, but nothing game breaking so far and mostly it seems to run pretty smoothly with my oldish rig. For a verdict: It is not a perfect game, but one of the more enjoyable games I have played on PC in the last years. For the ridiculous price that you can get it nowadays from sale, I think this is one of those games that everyone should pick up. Especially every old fart like me who has wathed the original Robocop movie, this is perfect nostalgia trip with fun gameplay!
