Risen is packed with content and if you can get past its blemishes there is a solid RPG here to last you at least 60 hours, but I feel a lot of today’s gamers won’t even get off the beach tutorial at the beginning of the game.

The long and short of it is that Risen is a fun action-adventure RPG. It is very rough around the edges, not to the extent of some other games in the genre that came out around the same time (looking at you, Two Worlds), but it has charm. If you’re a fan of Oblivion, or Skyrim, and want to see another game that has a similar style, this might be a good pickup.

bleah...

worst game I ever bought on GOG :/ you character is made up of paper and has to fight against steel mobs. it takes forever to kill even the simplest of them. you have to hit them 10038498758 times to down them, while they barely touch you and the game is over... I have spent better money on pizzas :/

No Polish language, shame on you

It is a great game. I played it for the first time over 10 years ago. It was in Polish. Now, here, I wanted to buy it and I see there is no Polish language. Why? You do not respect me as a customer, so I will not buy this game from you.
