Rise of the Dragon

well first of all the price is not worth a discussion. a jewel has its price and I pay my respect to the developers i see no difference in regards to available resources we have today., just 36MB needed for an hour lasting experience. The comic style is great, the atmosphere is chilling from the beginning and even the what do I know how many bits music is great. So if you dont buy it on the black friday sale never talk about it again.

You have no idea...NO FREAKING IDEA how long I have waited to play this game (and Heart of China) again. 5 stars!

I played and beat this way back when. It's a fairly static cyberpunk adventure with mature themes (the main draw for it, back when there were few Mature themed games available). The story isn't deep but it is interesting. More than anything Rise of the Dragon is a walk down memory lane, of a time when gritty games with blood and skin were rare, and decent ones even rarer. The price doesn't reflect the value of the game; there's not even two dollars of gameplay here unless you're really, really hard up for another short, semi-static cyberpunk adventure. Only hardcore nostalgia could make it worth five dollars, and the 2D action sequences are a crime against humanity. Just awful. Fortunately there aren't many of them. As a computer game in 2017 Rise of the Dragon is a complete failure. It lacks almost everything that makes computer games great. But for gritty cyberpunk nostalgia with a decent story it might be worth a look for adventure gamers when it goes on sale. Just don't expect too much.

Had some serious nostalgia for this game, but... WOOF.
