The story revolves around the disappearance of the Ishapian Church's most sacred relic, the Tear of the Gods. A band of ruthless pirates - in the employ of Sidi, a shadowy, half-mad sorcerer - attempt to seize the Tear from the Ishapian treasure ship; but in the process, they sink the ship accidentally, sending the Tear to the bottom of the Bitter Sea.
Your efforts to recover the Tear inadvertently draw you and your group into a violent, three-sided battle over the relic. Your quest leads you from the dizzying heights of Krondor's Palace, through the twisting tunnels of the sewers beneath the city, and into the haunted depths of a temple dedicated to an evil as ancient as the gods themselves.

Dlaczego warto kupować na GOG.COM?

Those who expect the sequel to match its fabled predecessor are for a big disappointment. The game stinks. The storyline is still fascinating but feels nowhere as "close and personal" as that in the first game. The gameplay is stunted, resources are overly abundant, challenging parts are few and far between, and the whole game can easily be finished in a few hours. Buy or stay away, $3 price tag makes it a flat choice.
Mediocre on almost all accounts. Inconsistent voice acting (though Earl Boen, of Monkey Island fame, is a pleasant treat as always. Clumsy and time-consuming inventory management. Money is useless for over half the game. The learning curve's pacing is all over the place, with features such as resting and alchemy being revealed all of a sudden with no rhyme or reason. Combat is a tiresome affair. Zero dramatic tension throughout the entire story, with characters you just can't bring yourself to care about and a haphazard plot that leaves you cold throughout.
On the plus side, I suppose there's this hilarious witch who provides some genuinely amusing levity in an otherwise uninspired and uninspiring game. Only get this if you're an RPG addict and the game happens to be on sale.
While this may not be everyone's favorite game. This game has a special place in my heart and is one of my favorites. There is some depth to this game, but you have to know where to find it.
