I just love this title and play with an official release updated for PC is great, just minor issues but nothing important.

Amazing Rerelease
Flawless as a simple rerelease should be. Bonus menu options, Bonus door animation skip, and Bonus save options from overwrite, create new, or update save (new). No more multi-slot saves needed.

It's Resident Evil 2...
The soundtrack, characters, setting, and monsters are all unique and at their peak (for 1999 at least). You really can't ask for anything better than RE2. Other than maybe RE3, or REmake.

Perfect restoration of a masterpiece
Thank you GOG for restoring this timeless masterpiece. I would not be able to experience it for the first time if not for your efforts. Controller works perfectly as well. Purchase it without a doubt.
