What a quest!
This game was a true surprise. The magic that is squeezed out of these retro specs is truly a sight to behold. Traveling the different realms leaves you with a sense of wonder, each one telling it's own tale, each one bursting from the screen with vibrant colors, each with it's own flavor. Exploration is a real treat here. So many secrets, so much atmosphere, you could just wander around for days. The mechanics are very simple, but in a good way, nothing gets in the way of your wandering of the land! Simple combat, skills/stats. You can beat it with just about any combination of classes, so there is real freedom to play the style that suits your fancy. The only drawback I can think of is that at times I really wanted to spend more time in a specific region. The savage Isle or the deserts of the west could have been an entire game on their own! I will truly miss some of these magical little nooks. Thanks for making this wonderful game, if there is a sequal I will be first in line!
