Too Complicated to Understand + Crashes

This game was my childhood years ago but I never played it properly; I was only ever interested in the trains. Years later after I got it on sale I attempted to play it properly and HO BOY was that a mistake. The game has a pretty difficult learning curve and requires you learn all this stuff about Finances, Profit, Stock, Dividens, etc. The issue is you have to be able to understeand ALL of this stuff 100% in order to even succeed, which is something a lot of people like me with autisum are unable to understand, so I end up failing every time. On top of all that, mine keeps crashing every so often every time it tries to play the CG scenes. Great nostaligia, but not recommended, especially if you don't understand how to run a complicated tycoon!

Unmatched gameplay

It had to be a substantial shock for those who came from Railroad Tycoon 2, but this game is tighter, the economics are both easier to understand and more fun to play with because they're more flexible, and it keeps all the charm from the previous version. There are some improvements to the flair of the game: loads of text is wrongly spelled, as well as many names of cities. The campaign is also pretty similar to the RR2 one, in the same scenarios. If a Railroad Tycoon 4 were to come it would be nice if it had you deal with other railroads than the USA's and Europe's in the main campaign.

Watch out

It can eat your days, weaks and even months without you even noticed they passed. Only thing i wihs is a modern day version of this, and please if someone try to do this dond change anything from this!!! Nothing even comes close to this game in its category.

WAB- The way games are suposed to be

I mean for the few bucks they are selling it for it's totally worth it just to buy so you can watch the intro to the game. Almost brought a tear to my eye, made me feel 10 years old again, I never played this before. In the very first moments I got very strong feelings that a lot of love went into this game. It's a beuty and I rarely see games made like this anymore. Full of goddamn whimsy and fun too. The way games should be.
