My only regret is no Raiden 2
so I'll still need my trusty copy of Raiden Project. But getting the Raiden Fighters games on my PC is a dream come true. Can't recommend these highly enough.

Worth it.
There have been a lot of bad things said about this compilation, as it's a bit buggy. I'm using a pretty new gaming PC, so the issues I've run into have been fairly minimal. The only lag I'm experiencing is at the title screen/main menu, which is a little annoying but it's fine since I'm not experiencing any problems during gameplay. I love Raiden 1 and 2, and these Fighters games fit in pretty nicely with the series on a number of levels. Love the first entry of Fighters just about as much as the original games, in fact. Fighters 2 and Jet are a little busy for my tastes though. A lot of the time you'll be left wondering what it was that hit you, because it's impossible to see the bullets behind all the fires and explosions. Still fun games though, and feel very in line with what's to be expected. In my opinion, it's good purchase. Shame it doesn't include Raiden II as well, but hopefully they'll add that somewhere down the line.

Superb
I've never played this series before, but took a punt and I absolutely love them - just a fantastic package. Well balanced and with a difficulty pitched about right for the casual player as well as the more hardcore. Graphically it's full of lovely details, reminding me a lot of the Bitmap Brothers work in particular. Good pumping soundtracks too. A little work needs doing on the UI outside of the games themselves - particularly making them more gamepad accessible and making restarts easier. Hopefully in a future update. Don't miss this one.

Pure Arcade Awesomeness
The Raiden series is one of the iconic shumps of the 90s: Fast gameplay, never ending action and one of the must pushing soundtracks, excellent fitting the on-screen bullet-hell. Everyone that loves shumps must play this game! It remembers me of my own time in arcades an - and this time was awesome! Thank you GOG for this wonderful set of breathtaking action. I can feel my instincts again! PS: Sadly, there is no Raiden 2 in this compilation. :-(
