From the art to the music to the story to the tactical gameplay, and even to how they're all woven together so artfully, Pyre is an adventure that excels in every area of its design other than limiting its multiplayer to local only. It's an epic journey that made me feel thrilled, devastated, and awed, and its tense moments had me tugging my collar both in and out of its fast-paced mystical sports arenas. With an emotionally charged ending that saw so much I'd striven for come to fruition, but was still tinged with tragedy and melancholy even when I did almost everything right, I won't be able to get Pyre out of my head for a long time. This is Supergiant's best work to date, and that's saying something.

Still a beautiful game

Wonderful story and music as always from Supergiant. I will say the gameplay while detailed will get more repetitive and tiring towards the end of the campaign. At least it did for me the first time I beat it a few years ago. Playing again now and enjoying it once more. Highly recommend playing it.

Its supergiant

Yeah its supergiant, they made Hades l and ll. What more do you want. Its still the same myth asthetic but in their own world. Its nice and the gameplay is unique and fun

May the Scribes be with you!

I loved the game! It is a true successor to Bastion and Transistor and the developers have hit gold again. The game follows a group of exiles trying to escape their punishment and make it back home. The characters, the story, and the world itself tells an amazing tale. By the end of the game, you connect with these unique people be it the stoic demon with a soft heart for kids, or the wyrm looking for his honor. The gameplay is also great. The rituals the exiles conducts are a blast to play and the music accompanying the matches is awesome. I highly recommend this game to people.

Ursula Le Guin meets Captain Tsubasa

Part fantasy sports game, part visual novel with a story that I'd describe as "Ursula Le Guin meets Captain Tsubasa". I loved the aesthetics and the plot, and quite enjoyed the simplified fantasy football that is the backbone of the game.
