W świecie Thasys, większość ras potrzebuje Many, aby przetrwać. Ta magiczna energia występuje coraz rzadziej, a wojny o przetrwanie targają całą krainą, gdyż czarodziejskie istoty walczą o ostatnie strzępki tej życiodajnej siły. Ponoć gdzieś legendarne stworzenia śpią w nieskończonej drzemce, ukrywając w swych sercach pierwotne źródła Many. Tylko kilku wybrańców może przebudzić te stworzenia i dzięki nim ocalić Thasys. Są świadkami ginącego świata, ostatnią nadzieją dla żyjących.
Prodigy jest taktyczną grą turową, której akcja rozgrywa się w fantastycznym świecie Thasys, rozdartym nieskończoną wojną. Stwórz drużynę bohaterów, ostatnią nadzieję ginącego świata, i poprowadź ich ku zwycięstwu, ramię w ramię z potężnymi Strażnikami. Każda postać posiada własny, niepowtarzalny zestaw umiejętności, dzięki którym wspomaga towarzyszy w walce lub atakuje wrogów.

Beautiful, but boring.
I pre-purchased the game, but waited until after I tried the full release to write this review. First of all, graphics are amazing. That and the obvious effort put in improving the game are the two reasons I am not giving it a single star. The leveling table is exactly the same for all characters. No individuality, except for the very basics. The game play is still slow (even after the devs put in the option to skip the terribly repetitive attacks animations; I did give them credit for listening to the community on this one). Also, the game play is just incredibly boring, as there are no real decisions to be made (if you are sticking to optimal game play I mean). And this is coming from somebody who loves tactical games. The story mode is simply... lacking? Seriously, the way the storytelling is implemented seems kind of rushed/lazy compared to how good the graphics are. Overall: good effort, amazing graphics, boring game play, lazy story telling, lazy level-up system. I kind of feel I am being too generous giving it 3 stars, to be honest. 2.5 would be more fair.
