When one can feel the love they put into
The art, the music, the characters, the overall mood, the lore, the moral questions... This game is one of my favs in terms of point and click games. Even after playing it like 6 times. :-D

A gem in the genre
The second best point and click genre game I ever played (If you really want to know, J.U.L.I.A. is my all time favorite). The story on its own could have been a very successful sci-fi short. The graphics are very good with a details level good enough to make discovery of objects relatively easy. The dialogues are also quite good and the humor is neither vulgar nor infantile. The interface works well. So why not five stars? Well it's just that some of the puzzles are nearly impossible to solve without a walkthrough (Not an issue since it's readily available on the web) and this takes away some of the interest in the game and, certainly, the player's sense of achievement. I will not give examples here not to spoil the game. The fact that there is absolutely no replay value once you solved it could also have an impact safe for the fact that it's pretty well a "de facto" for this genre. Overall though very well worth having specially if, like me, you can get it at a discount from GOG.

intriguing, immersive, charming
It's been a while since I've appreciated a game as much as I did this. Nearly everything about it is wonderful - the artwork; the minimalistic soundtrack, the characters and their interactions, the puzzles and the way that, unlike a lot of inventory-based puzzle games, they manage to be rooted in logic and sensibility whilst still being challenging. My only complaint is the fact that the story seems to reveal itself implicitly well before the game draws to a close and then simply states the elements of the story that were revealed through emergent game-play. It left me feeling slightly disappointing as I was anticipating some grand twist that would knock me off of my feet. Would recommend whole-heartedly to anyone looking for challenge/good story/the chance to explore a rich environment.

good game!
wow, I didn't expect to be able to play a "pixelated" old-school adventure game and still enjoy it in year 2014. Yet, I was proven wrong! I was hearing the name of Wadjet eye a lot, but now I understand that their games, must be gems! Beautiful writing, great moral questions, atmospheric music and excellent voice acting! Really enjoyable! Thank you!
