Opis
In this bundle you can have two great trade games, predecessors to Patrician 3, in the price of just one! Set against the historical backdrop of maritime trade at the time of the Hanseatic League, the Patrician series sees the player take the role of a citizen of a medieval hanseatic town in Northern Europe, between London and Novgorod, with the aim being to rise from the status of an ordinary, unimportant trader to that of a major business tycoon and governor of your hometown.

To achieve this goal, the player must gain the respect and recognition of other inhabitants and try to make a profit through maritime trade, the production of goods and the completion of missions. The player can raise his profile by both improving the city and through diplomacy, or by raising money for his treasury by means of piracy and smuggling - but watch out, others want easy money too, so you would do wise to arm your ships!
  • A realistic simulation of a complex world comprised of production, transport, trade and consumption

ich kann mich der rezension von jamotide anschliessen.... i saw my bigger brother playing it on his dos-pc in the early 90's...myself i tried the game many times, but i had no clue what to do...after playing fugger 2 some years later with a couple of friends & momentanely looking out for those old games (whether dos or win 7/10 mode) i gave it another shot...now i know what to do :).... it's a nice add-on for my 2 lil i4770/i4790 4gb gpu 8/16gb ram win10 pc's; on them i play older pc (90's - early2010's)/dos/amiga-emu games...still looking out for older cheap games on sale...

Impeccable Atmosphere

I'm glad these two are available for mostly game-history reasons, since for me, the way to play Patrician is the "third" game (2+Addon)

I've really enjoyed other trading type games in the past, but after playing Patrician 2 for a few hours, I really have no desire to go back to it again. Maybe I just don't have the patience that other reviews have, but it felt like I was spinning my wheels for hours and making no actual progress, while at the same time doing repetitive actions that made the game simply boring.

Why bother...

Don´t bother with the first, the second one crashes a lot. Get the third if you wanna play this.

Patrician 2 does not run in Windows 8

Has same issue as Patrician 3. A bit misleading and very disappointing. Patrician 1 does work in Windows 8, because it's a DOS game.
