Pathologic 2 is a narrative-driven dramatic thriller about fighting a deadly outbreak in a secluded rural town. The town is dying. Face the realities of a collapsing society as you make difficult choices in seemingly lose-lose situations. The plague isn’t just a disease. You can’t save everyone.

The plague is devouring the town. The chief local healer is dead, and you are now to take his place. You’ll have to look for unexpected allies. The local kids are hiding something. Try playing by their rules.

You only have 12 days.


  • 12 days in an odd town ravaged by a deadly disease.
  • Time is of the essence: if you don’t manage it carefully, it’ll simply run out. You’ll have to choose how to spend the priceless minutes you have.
  • Survival thriller. You’ll have to manage your bodily functions, offsetting hunger, thirst, exhaustion, and so on. It doesn’t boil down to scavenging resources. Surviving on your own is hard; you’ll have to win over allies.
  • An uphill battle. Managing your bodily parameters may seem bearable at first, and as time goes by, it becomes harder and harder. Your own body is only waiting for an opportunity to give up and betray you. Things are changing from bad to worse and the odds are stacked against you.
  • A duel with an enemy you can’t kill. Your main foe is the plague itself, an incorporeal and malevolent entity that you have to defeat… without having the means to. It’s more powerful and more treacherous than you can imagine.
  • Loot, murder, mug, steal, barter, beg… or don’t. You need resources to survive, and it’s up to you how to obtain them.
  • The fights are short, ungraceful, and vicious. They’re not always lethal though. Many people—yourself included—would prefer to exchange their wallet for their life.

Pathologic 1 & 2 are masterpieces of games as art. They are cruel and disturbing, but ask unique questions and do things you won't see anywhere else. These are singularly unique experiences that are worth suffering through.

Not what I hoped it would be

I think it is one of those games that try to be weird for the sake of being weird. And it tries too hard. There is no subtlety here. Weird stuff happens. Is it the plague? Are you hallucinating? Oh wait, you are somewhere else. You died. No wait, you are alive. Eventually, I just stopped trying to figure it out. It is like the old PSX Lucid Dream Simulator, but they did not pretend to have any meaning and/or mystery behind it all. It was just an experience. Still, based on the rating, it clearly appeals to some gamers so I am going to leave it at that.

Kind of shitty

Thought it was cool at first, but the combat and level design are garbage. I don't know why there are so many 4 and 5 star reviews. They must have got the Russian troll farm to astroturf here and give it good reviews. Guess that's what happens when you let Russians sell games on your platform.

SNOREFEST!

Simply one of the most boring games I've ever encountered in my life. Just walking from place to place is so slow and cumbersome I couldn't even stand to tolerate it anymore. I don't even know how difficult or frustrating the gameplay is because it's just so damn boring. Waste of money for zero entertainment.

Boring, tasteless garbage

This game has a demographic of people that love to smell their own flatulence, and call farts flatulence unironically... I cannot for the life of me understand how anyone can rate this game a 5/5, or anything above 3 really, and the 2 stars are mostly for the effort and time it takes to put any game together. If you are going into this 'game' expecting a 'game' you are sorely mistaken and honestly don't even get it. For whatever price you are getting it you will enter a drab grey city, the boring convoluted dialogue that loves to use pseudo intelectual conjectures and takes itself more seriously than any game has the right to and finally the plain embarassing combat mechanics makes this a sleepy, boring and outright crap game. The 5 stars on this must be from people that like movies for their 'conceptual undertones' rather than the actual substance. Just don't get it
